Welcome!

Greetings from Walker Taekwondo Academy!

We are a non-profit Christian martial-arts school based out of Walker Bible Baptist Church in Lansing, Michigan. It is our mission to better our students in mind, body, and spirit through Taekwondo while also furthering the Gospel in Lansing and beyond.

Tae Kwon Do means "the way of the hand and foot." It is a Korean martial art with an emphasis on strong powerful kicks.

Our school is proudly a part of the U.S. Chung Do Kwan Association, a well-known Taekwondo organization providing world-class credentials, cirriculum, and training.

Martial arts teach not only self-defense, but also can lead to confidence, phyiscal fitness, mental well-being, and spiritual enrichment. As our students learn and grow, they not only become experts at the discipline of Taewkondo, they become leaders and achievers in their personal lives too.

Classes

We believe that Taekwondo is not just for KIDS, it's for FAMILIES. Classes are offered throughout the week and people of any age or physical ability can attend. Parents love to participate with their children and many people make lasting friendships.

Our morning classes mainly consist of homeschoolers, but anyone can attend. Homeschoolers can even use their training for PE credits.

Monday's and Thursday's from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
Tuesday's and Friday's from 10:00 am to 11:30 am.
